Every piece at Jewell Parade begins with a stone — and every stone has a story. If something you've seen speaks to you but calls for a different gem, a different metal, or an entirely different form, we welcome that conversation.
Whether you're looking to rework an existing design or build something entirely from scratch, we work closely with you from the first idea to the finished piece. There are no fixed rules — only what feels right for you.

Reach out with your idea — a reference image, a description, or simply a feeling. We'll respond within 48 hours to begin the conversation.
We discuss your vision in detail — stone type, setting style, metal, budget, and timeline. This can be done via email, phone, or in person.
We present a design direction and detailed quote. Two rounds of revisions are included at no additional charge.
A 50% deposit confirms the commission. Production begins immediately and you'll receive regular updates throughout.
Final payment is due on completion. Your piece is shipped via insured express post, or available for collection.
Finger size will need to be confirmed before production begins, we suggest the following:
If you are in Perth, WA, we invite you to visit us in person for complimentary finger sizing.
If you are based elsewhere, the best option is to get your finger sized professionally by a local jeweller — this is often free of charge.
Ring sizers are available to purchase and can be sent to you upon request.
If the ring is a surprise, collect an existing ring worn on the same finger, place it on a ruler and photograph the inside diameter clearly — send this through and we'll work from there.
As a last resort, a clear photograph of the hand can be used. We'll make our best assessment and resizing can be arranged afterwards if needed.

Sapphire is one of the most prized gemstones in the world, valued for its exceptional hardness (9 on the Mohs scale) and the extraordinary depth of its colour. While blue is the most celebrated variety, sapphires occur in virtually every colour — pink, yellow, green, orange, and the rare padparadscha.
The finest sapphires come from Kashmir, Burma (Mogok), and Ceylon (Sri Lanka). Unheated stones command a significant premium and are among the most sought-after gemstones in existence.

Ruby is the red variety of corundum and is among the rarest and most valuable gemstones on earth. The most prized colour is known as "pigeon's blood": a vivid, pure red with a slightly bluish undertone, found almost exclusively in the Mogok Valley of Burma.
Unheated rubies are exceptionally rare. A fine unheated Burmese ruby of significant size is rarer than a diamond of equivalent weight and can exceed diamond in value per carat.

Emerald is the green variety of beryl, coloured by trace amounts of chromium and vanadium. Unlike sapphire and ruby, emeralds almost always contain natural inclusions — known in the trade as the "jardin" (garden) — and a completely clean emerald is exceedingly rare.
Colombian emeralds, particularly those from Muzo and Chivor, are considered the world's finest. Oiling and resin treatment is standard; stones with minimal treatment are significantly more valuable.

Diamond is the hardest natural substance on earth (10 on the Mohs scale). At Jewell Parade we favour diamonds with character — old cuts such as the rose cut, old European, and old mine — which carry a warmth and individuality absent from modern brilliant cuts.
We also work with natural fancy colour diamonds: champagne, cognac, salt and pepper, and the extraordinarily rare pink and blue.
