Your rights do not depend on this policy

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing on this page limits those rights. If a piece is faulty, not as described, or not fit for what we said it was for, write to us and we will put it right.

Change of mind

There is no cooling-off period for online purchases in Australia, and we are not required to refund a change of mind. What we offer is this:

  • Collection pieces — pieces we made and listed ourselves — may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, provided they are unworn, undamaged, and returned with everything they came with, including any certificate. Return postage and insurance are yours to arrange and pay for.
  • Bespoke and commissioned pieces cannot be returned for a change of mind. They are made to your specification for you, and cannot be offered to anyone else. Your rights above still apply in full if something is wrong with the piece.
  • Resized or altered pieces cannot be returned for a change of mind once the work has been done.

How to return something

Write to hello@jewell-parade.com before sending anything back, and we will tell you where to send it and how it should be packed and insured. A piece sent back without telling us first travels at your risk.

Refunds go back to the card or account you paid from, within five business days of the piece reaching us and being checked.

Repairs

Fine jewellery is worn, and worn things need attention. A fault in our making or materials is ours to fix at our cost. Damage from wear, accident or alteration by someone else is not, though we will almost always be able to repair it and will quote before starting.
